For the past few years, we’ve been quietly refining our in-house cannabis genetics program. We take some of our cult-classic genetics, add our own unique spin, and create something Florida has never seen before.

What is an In-House Genetics Program?

An in-house genetics program is where art meets science—a mix of lab precision and greenhouse magic. It’s a space where breeders experiment, innovate, and cross strains to create something entirely new, amplifying the best traits from parent plants to deliver a unique experience.

Here’s how it works: Our cultivators act like expert matchmakers, carefully selecting plants based on their standout traits—flavors, effects, potency—and breeding them together to create the ultimate power couple.

That’s where genetics comes in. When pheno-hunting for the perfect strain, sometimes you’ll find a specific trait you love—like deep purple buds, candy-like aromas, or resin that looks like fresh snow—but the plant might have undesirable traits too. By carefully breeding parents, we can create a strain that highlights the best of both worlds. It takes time and dedication, but when you’ve selected the parents, you know one of the offspring will deliver exactly what you’re looking for.

For example, we used a Pine Zap male to cross with a wide variety of female plants, testing over 50-60 different phenos across 7-8 strains. The result? 99% of those phenos showed no herms and solid potency. That’s the stability we’re achieving through this program, and it’s just the beginning.
